There are a whole host of competing account and finance related apps available on the App Store and the Mac App Store. Why do I think should you consider buying MyNetWorth, MyNetWorth for Windows and/or iNetWorth? Well, it’s because:
- You can try MyNetworth and iNetWorth before your commit to buying either of them and you can reuse any data that your have entered in a Preview version in its Full version. MyNetWorth for Windows is available as a trial version in the Microsoft Store.
- With MyNetworth and/or iNetWorth you can operate on multiple sets of accounts; many of the other (particularly iOS) apps limit you to a single set of accounts.
- MyNetworth and iNetWorth offer built in support for split transactions, e.g. where a single payment applies to 2 or more expense categories; many supermarket purchases are split transactions. Most of the other apps available do not support split transactions directly and users have to apply their own complex workarounds.
- MyNetworth and iNetWorth are affordable. They are both ‘old fashioned’ software packages in that you only pay for them once. What you buy is yours for life with free access to any updates that follow. There are no in app puchases and there are no subscription charges.
- MyNetworth and iNetWorth are efficient. They do not feature fancy graphics and icons. They aim to make best use of the screen area available and offer a logical and straightforward, no nonsense user interface.
- If you buy both MyNetworth and iNetWorth, you can share (.mnydata) files between your iOS and/or macOS devices easily over iCloud. Changes made in MyNetWorth are reflected in iNetWorth automatically through iCloud synchronisation. Changes made in iNetWorth are made available to MyNetWorth automatically through iCloud synchronisation but with the MyNetWorth user given the option to accept or reject changes made on iOS or other macOS devices.
- MyNetworth, MyNetWorth for Windows and iNetWorth all come with full User Guides; the MyNetworth and MyNetWorth for Windows User Guides are linked to the apps’ Help main menu item and the iNetWorth HelpBook is linked to a button in iNetWorth’s More View. Furthermore, the Preview and Trial versions also come with their own dedicated, fully featured Apple style HelpBooks.
